deltarune chapter 2 replay

HIIIIIIII i'm back again :D with another blog entry. first of all, my birthday happens to be tomorrow...scary...second of all, (a few days ago) i finished my replay of deltarune chapter 2!!! it was so awesome ok let me start

CYBER FIELD!!!!!!

i love the cyber world so much. specifically the cyber field and the cyber city. in general i have a big liking of anything related to old technology/internet (hence why i also wanted to make this website in the first place lol) and entering the cyber world again in a long time felt so exciting for me. this is such a fun part of deltarune. i think i really have a big appreciation for the worldbuilding in both deltarune and undertale and the cyber world is one of my favorites and one of the reasons why i am so fond of the locations in the games. they always have such an interesting concept behind them and the concept of what would a world inside of a computer look like was done in such a clever way. ANYWAYS. ok nevermind i need to excessively talk about the soundtrack too XD i cannot not mention the soundtrack. specifically when it plays in the cyber field, I LOOOOOOOVEEEE how it was composed and i love how the sounds align!!! it reminds me of the soundtrack that plays in undertale in the hotland and CORE areas, both of which i happen to also be really fond of!

do not get me wrong, when i was previously replaying chapter 1, i felt a very similar way about the locations there, as i also love the foresty and fantasy scenery of it.

CYBER CITY!!!!!!! I LOVE CYBER CITY also please look at Susie chomping cotton candy. i love Susie.

cyber city was so fun dude i had so much fun playing it i still miss it days after replaying that chapter. so much has happened in it as well, such as walking with Noelle through it. I like how this was added in to this specific part of the game as it brought Noelle and Kris more closer together after a while of them just being considered neighbors. And considering this is what Noelle wanted to happen as well. These two contrast each other in so many ways that are in the similar category but I will not be analyzing them in this entry teehee (oh by the way. i am also aware of the weird route but i refuse to do it myself mainly for the reason being getting emotionally attached to the characters). also, while replaying this chapter, i became more tolerant of Berdly. i actually quite like him now and he's rather more funny than annoying (i am not denying that he isn't annoying i just find it funny) also come think of it he does have a lot of character depth as well.

WAIT I HAVE TO MENTION one of my favorite parts in the chapter. when Noelle gets captured by Queen and is taken to a room reflected by her search history and the interactions she has with Susie in there and on the ferris wheel i love these two so much and this was one of the first bigger interactions they had and you could really tell how much Noelle was starting to grow on Susie they're so good for each other i love them i love Suselle

SPAMTON G. SPAMTON

it's him it's the rat. i have to admit that replaying this chapter and actually getting to the Spamton NEO secret boss fight made me more fond of him. i still find him disgusting but he's grown on me. also in general, i find his character and the concept of him to be extremely interesting and for a while now i've researched and analyzed his character and role in the plot - i find him to be one of the most interesting characters there. don't get me started on his relationship with Tenna i am actively writing a huge essay on that and analyzing every evidence i can find ehe

SPAMTON NEO!!!!!!

i think that this is what i was mainly looking forward to when replaying chapter 2 as i have not done this fight before. it might be one of my favorite fights :D unlike Jevil it wasn't too chaotic for me but still challenging, however i did beat him in way less tries than i expected so i got really happy too. i swear i think i might have beaten him in 5 or 6 tries? i love how it was unsettling at some points too and how much it delved into Spamton's character as well ajdahdsadsj i actually had a lot of fun ^_^

oughhhh the prevalent theme in the game of the characters being condemned to their fate with no choice or freedom.....i have so many thoughts on this and i can't wait to put it all into an entry of me talking about this specific theme in the game

ANYWAY i think i'll be ending this soon but i have a few things i wanted to mention too...overall i think i can safely decide now that chapter 2 is very likely my favorite (if not one of my favorites) chapter from deltarune so far. it has so much content to it, but something is constantly happening to keep the player engaged. and there's a lot of lovable moments and characters introduced too! also just. cyber world. funny computer world. and Queen! i love Queen she's genuinely one of the silliest characters there and not many people talk about it!!!!!! awesome chapter ok it's really late i need to go although i will write tomorrow again as it will be my birth day...o_o ok bye guys
